scheduledays

đź’ˇKey Phrases and Explanations

Tu veux déjeuner ensemble demain ?

Do you want to have lunch together tomorrow? A casual invitation. "Déjeuner" can vary in meaning: in France it’s lunch, in some regions it’s breakfast.

Après-demain

The day after tomorrow. Very handy for near-future planning.

On se retrouve au restaurant ?

Shall we meet at the restaurant? "Se retrouver" implies a planned meeting, not just bumping into someone.

La semaine prochaine

Next week. Essential for scheduling slightly further in advance.

Dans deux semaines

In two weeks. "Dans" + time is used for “in … time” in the future.

Dans un mois

In a month. Useful for long-term planning. Don’t confuse with "le mois prochain," which means "next month."

Ça nous laissera le temps de tout préparer.

That will give us time to prepare everything. Good expression for explaining the advantage of planning ahead.

C’est noté !

It’s noted! Very natural way to confirm plans, equivalent to “Got it!” in English.
